Overview

Slacky is a Chrome extension designed to enhance the Slack web experience.

We take user privacy seriously and collect only minimal, anonymous data necessary to improve the product.

Slacky does not collect personally identifiable information.

Data We Collect

Slacky collects anonymous usage data through an analytics provider (PostHog) to understand how features are used and to improve stability and usability.

This data may include:

• Anonymous usage events (e.g. feature usage)
• Error logging when an issue occurs in the extension
• A randomly generated, anonymous identifier (UUID) created locally in the browser

This identifier:

• Is not linked to any personal information
• Is not tied to your Slack account
• Cannot be used to identify you as an individual

Data We Do NOT Collect

Slacky does not collect or store:

• Names, email addresses, or contact information
